There are two methods to provision Intel Active Management Technology:
Client Control Mode (CCM): CCM is the more straightforward way to provision AMT. However, there are several limitations in CCM, in particular, the need for User Consent for a KVM operation or change to the boot order.
To configure a device in CCM follow this steps.
Admin Control Mode (ACM): ACM deployment is a little more complicated and requires a PKI infrastructure (digital certificates) to establish trust between the provisioning server and client. In ACM, all the supported Intel Active Management Technology capabilities are available, and optionally you can disable the requirement of User Consent.
To configure a device in ACM follow this steps.
You can manage both of these implementations using Boardgent.
