Step 1

The Console installation procedure consists simply of running the installer

Step 2

Enter the Active Directory credentials that you will configure in the Boardgent console. These credentials must have sufficient privileges to read the attributes of the objects in Active Directory

Step 3

After connection with credentials, go to the option "settings" and configure the attributes of the organization. This configuration will depend on the services you have purchased and implemented: BIOS Password, Administrator Password, or BitLocker Recovery Keys

The information stored by Boardgent in each attribute is detailed below:

BIOS Password

  • BIOS Expiration: this attribute stores the expiration date of the password assigned to the computer's BIOS

  • BIOS Password: this attribute stores the password generated by Boardgent that can later be consulted to access the computer's BIOS

  • Settings: this attribute stores additional information and computer BIOS properties

Admin Password

  • User Admin Expiration: this attribute stores the expiration date of the password assigned to the Windows administrator user

  • User Password: this attribute stores the password generated by Boardgent for the Windows administrator account on the computer

BitLocker

  • BitLocker Key Password: This attribute stores the password generated by BitLocker to decrypt hard drives on computers
